Call tracking numbers are displayed based on the marketing source of the visitor. We walk you through how to test your tracking numbers from different traffic sources. We look at a direct visit and then we show you how to simulate a visit from Google AdWords, without clicking an ad.
To simulate a Google AdWords click, clear your browser cookies, then add
?gclid=test to the end of your URL.
- Example: http://www.whatconverts.com/?gclid=test
or, add campaign, content and keyword variables to the test URL
- Example: http://www.whatconverts.com/?gclid=test&campaign=test-campaign&content=ad-test&keyword=keyword-test
