This month, our spotlight employee is Amanda Hodges, Business Administrator.
Tell us a little about your career path.
How did you first get into the SaaS or tech industry, or what led you to WhatConverts?
My path has been anything but linear, which I think gives me a unique perspective in SaaS. I’ve worked across industries, from military logistics to personally assisting ultra-high-net-worth individuals. I love building and being part of systems that help people work smarter, not harder. Tech felt like a natural next step because it’s fast-moving, constantly evolving, and full of opportunities to learn new skills.
What do you enjoy most about your role at WhatConverts?
Is there something unique about working on our team that you find exciting?
I enjoy being a behind-the-scenes orchestrator. I’m someone who finds satisfaction in making processes smoother and helping teams operate more efficiently. I thrive in opportunities where I can streamline systems, create clarity, and support others quietly but effectively. WhatConverts offers a unique mix of autonomy and collaboration. You get ownership over your work but still collaborate with people who have different strengths and perspectives. That balance keeps things dynamic.
What’s one project or achievement at WhatConverts that you’re particularly proud of?
This could be a specific individual contribution, a customer success story, or a team accomplishment.
I’m proud of being someone the team can rely on when something needs to be completed, documented, or turned into a better workflow. Whether that’s improving processes, jumping in to help where needed, or simply making information easier to navigate, it feels good to contribute to a smoother experience for the team as we grow.
How do you like to unwind after a busy day in the world of SaaS?
Tell us what you like to do, and how you maintain work-life balance.
Movement and creativity help me reset. I love working out, spending time with my husband and our dog, and eating good food. I’ve learned that a great evening for me is anything that slows my mind down and gets me back into my body.
What’s a fun fact about you that your colleagues might not know?
It can be anything—from an interesting fact, to a hidden talent, to quirky hobbies.
I once got married twice in the same week, once at the courthouse and then again at a beach ceremony in Mexico. Same husband, just double the memories!
If you could instantly learn one skill (personal or professional), what would it be?
Perhaps you want to code like a pro, master the art of PPC, or pick up a non-work-related hobby?
I would love to learn high-level video editing and visual storytelling. It’s such a powerful way to share ideas, educate, and inspire people, and it combines creativity with tech in a really engaging way.
What’s something you’re currently obsessed with?
This can be work-related (like a tool or trend) or something personal (foods, pets, places, TV shows - anything!).
I’m obsessed with creating meaningful, long-term routines that include fitness, meditation, and learning new things to support both mental and physical well-being. I love optimizing for a lifestyle that feels good now and supports the future I’m building.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received, professionally or personally?
How has this advice helped shape your life or your career?
“I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” - Maya Angelou
This quote has shaped both my personal and professional life. It reminds me that presence, kindness, and emotional intelligence matter just as much, if not more, than the task at hand. Whether I’m collaborating on a project or helping someone solve a personal problem, I try to leave people feeling seen, supported, and empowered.

Planning a high-level event for 250 people in 3 days flat. I’d lock down the venue, entertainment, catering, creative touches, and logistics faster than most because I’ve done it before…multiple times. My secret sauce is vision + execution: I can see the end result clearly and reverse-engineer every step to bring it to life fast. I thrive under pressure when there’s a vision to bring to life and a reason to make it unforgettable.
