WhatConverts isn't just a product—it's a team. And without that team, we know we'd be nowhere.
That's why each month, we recognize one team member who's gone above and beyond in their role, and we share a little bit about who they are and what makes them so integral to WhatConverts. (They also get a bit of free swag from our merch store!)
This month, our spotlight employee is Justin Hill, Senior Customer Success Manager.
How did you first get into the SaaS or tech industry, or what led you to WhatConverts?
I started in SaaS in 2012 at a company called ProSites and I immediately knew that it was going to be my career path. After working there for 5 years, I was looking forward to growing my SaaS experience with a company that I could learn new and exciting things in the tech world which landed me here at WhatConverts in 2019.
Is there something unique about working on our team that you find exciting?
I enjoy helping new customers set up their accounts from nothing and watching it grow into something that they can benefit from.
This could be a specific individual contribution, a customer success story, or a team accomplishment.
I take pride in moving from the customer support team into the onboarding role where I was the only person in that role for over 3 years.
Tell us what you like to do, and how you maintain work-life balance.
I like to hang out with my son and my Fiancé. We enjoy walking along the lake in our neighborhood, trying new restaurants near us, or simply enjoying each other's company at home.
It can be anything—from an interesting fact, to a hidden talent, to quirky hobbies.
I am 6’6” but ironically extremely afraid of heights.
Perhaps you want to code like a pro, master the art of PPC, or pick up a non-work-related hobby?
I want to learn how to play the piano. It might be a little late but I think it’s really cool to sit down at the keys and know what you’re doing.
This can be work-related (like a tool or trend) or something personal (foods, pets, places, TV shows - anything!).
Music, Music, Music! I love listening to music and could do that all day long!
How has this advice helped shape your life or your career?
Never forget to find time to appreciate what you have. If you can appreciate what you have you’ll never feel like you’re missing something.
(This is a great opportunity to highlight a unique skill, or stead-fast know-how!)
