Team Member Spotlight: Juan Sanchez—Racing-Game Master, Client Success Driver

This month, our spotlight employee is Juan Sanchez, Customer Success Manager.

Tell us a little about your career path.

How did you first get into the SaaS or tech industry, or what led you to WhatConverts?

Technology, gadgets, and software were always of interest to me. From watching tech reviews on YouTube or understanding how powerful software can be for businesses. I explored tech companies and learned the foundations of sales and marketing. Ultimately, it led me to the amazing company of WhatConverts!

What do you enjoy most about your role at WhatConverts?

Is there something unique about working on our team that you find exciting?

What I enjoyed most about working at WhatConverts is being the foundation of client success on the platform. The ability to help out clients and create a real impact on their business provides a sense of fulfillment. I also enjoy how connected the CS and Support team are, as they are ready to help us CSMs and the clients!

What’s one project or achievement at WhatConverts that you’re particularly proud of?

This could be a specific individual contribution, a customer success story, or a team accomplishment.

One achievement I am proud of is that we have created a system for having relationships with our ICP Clients. We have created a system to meet periodically with our clients and ensure that we are a trusted partner of their business and we are here to assist and add value to their business.

How do you like to unwind after a busy day in the world of SaaS?

Tell us what you like to do, and how you maintain work-life balance.

Unwinding the busy day as a CSM is a priority. With the many hats we wear, I prioritize a great meal where that is my fuel to go to the gym, where I practice strength and conditioning, or a workout class. After a great workout, I slow down and be present with family or my partner. Watch a show, read a book, or watch Youtube.

What’s a fun fact about you that your colleagues might not know?

It can be anything—from an interesting fact, to a hidden talent, to quirky hobbies.

Tennis and golf are two sports that I enjoy watching and enjoy playing recreationally! I am no pro, but it's extremely fun and it's a great way to enjoy sunny California!

If you could instantly learn one skill (personal or professional), what would it be?

Perhaps you want to code like a pro, master the art of PPC, or pick up a non-work-related hobby?

I would master the skill of golf and tennis. Both are great sports and I’d love to get better at them. On a technical level, mastering Claude Code would be another one!

What’s something you’re currently obsessed with?

This can be work-related (like a tool or trend) or something personal (foods, pets, places, TV shows - anything!).

Something I am currently obsessed with is European soccer. Specifically, the Champions League. The Champions League is currently at the quarter-finals of the best European Football (Soccer) teams, and it's a very exciting sport to watch!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received, professionally or personally?

How has this advice helped shape your life or your career?

The best piece of advice I’ve heard is that you are the biggest superpower. Your thoughts, your actions, your circle, your career are all shaped initially with a thought in mind. Why not think in every outcome, every situation, with the best outcome in mind? Your thoughts create your reality, and your reality is the present moment.

Any racing video game. I can beat 100 people easy. I am a master at work with any racing game!
