As an agency, having your clients update their lead data in WhatConverts (quotable vs. non-quotable, quote value, sales value, etc.) is invaluable.

But getting them to actually do it can be tricky.

That’s where Custom Client Views come in.

By setting Custom Client Views, you can control the exact lead data information your clients see when they login to the Lead Manager.

That way, you make it as easy as possible for them to fill in the information you need to make better marketing decisions on their behalf.

And that makes it easier for you to prove and grow your ROI.

What You Can Do With Custom Client Views

Let’s say you’re running Google Ads for a client.

Up until now, you’ve been optimizing based on cost per lead (CPL) alone—a good start.

But in order to provide even more value, you need to know which campaigns are generating the highest value leads, not just the most or the cheapest.

And that means you need to know:

  1. Which leads are quotable
  2. Their quote/sales value

Now, you’ve tried to show your client how to log in to WhatConverts and fill in this vital information. But with all the data provided by the default Lead Manager views (Lead State, Source, Medium, etc.), the client feels a bit overwhelmed and tells you to just stick with CPL.

This, of course, means you can’t optimize based on:

  • Quotable leads generated
  • Revenue earned
  • Return on ad spend

But with Custom Client Views, you can simplify the info shown in Lead Manager (e.g., Contact Name, Phone Number, Quotable, Quote Value) so entering this important lead data is simple and straightforward.

Best of all, these views are saved at the user level, making it easy for you to customize what each client sees when they log in.

Setting Up Custom Client Views

To set up Custom Client Views:

  1. Login to your WhatConverts Master Account. Then click on the “Master Account Settings” button in the Control Center on the left.
  2. Select “Users” from the navigation.
  3. Select “Account Users”.
  4. Find the user account you’d like to create the Custom Client View for and select the “Impersonate User” button on the right.
  5. You are now seeing the screen this user sees when they log in to their account. From here, you can create, edit, and save custom views for this user, just as you would for your own account. Note: See the guides below for detailed instructions on creating and saving custom column views.
