Speed Up Qualifying Inbound Leads with Topic Detection – Did You Know?

Qualifying inbound leads with AI lets you speed up your processes and better understand which marketing channels produce the best results.

And with WhatConverts Topic Detection, you can quickly understand what category a phone call lead falls into—sales call, customer service inquiry, request for quote, etc.—so you can get even more strategic with your marketing optimizations.

Here’s how it works.

What You Can Do With Topic Detection

As part of the Lead Analysis suite of features, the main benefit of Topic Detection is being able to understand lead quality efficiently.

If, for instance, you bring in 100 phone call leads for your roofing client a week and want to know which are qualified, you can listen to each call to make sure they’re legitimate leads. At 1 to 5 minutes per call, this could take up to nearly 8.5 hours.

OR you can use Topic Detection to automatically and instantly pick out what topics are discussed on each call. Then, you can organize your leads by topic for easier qualification. For example, you could choose to disqualify all calls with the topic “payment issue” or “wrong number”.

How to Use Intent Detection

Note: To use Topic Detection, you first must have Lead Analysis active. For more information on Lead Analysis and how to activate it, see the guide below.

There are two places to find Intent Detection:

  1. In the Lead Manager
  2. In the Lead Details page

1. Lead Manager

  1. Log into your WhatConverts account and head to the Lead Manager.
  2. Add your Intent Detection column from the “Choose Columns” option.

2. Lead Details

  1. Log into your WhatConverts account and head to the Lead Manager.
  2. Click “View Lead” to go to the Lead Details page.
