Track Marketing Spend

Marketing Spend automatically tracks your advertising costs from major platforms and lets you add manual expenses to measure ROI and cost per lead across all marketing channels.

Access Marketing Spend

Go to Reports > Marketing Spend in your WhatConverts account.

Enable automatic spend tracking for ad platforms

To track costs from Google Ads, Bing Ads, or Facebook Ads:

  1. Click Connect next to the platform you want to track
  2. Login to your ad account when prompted
  3. Select Ad Spend Account to track to complete the connection process

Add manual marketing expenses

For SEO, social media, or other marketing costs:

  1. Click Add Marketing Spend
  2. Select a category from the dropdown or create your own
  3. Enter your monthly budget
  4. Click Save Marketing Spend

Disconnect spend tracking

To stop tracking costs from an ad platform:

  1. Click Disconnect next to the platform
  2. Confirm the disconnection

Note: This only stops cost tracking - your platform integrations remain active for lead attribution.
