Before using the WhatConverts Google Data Studio Connector, you must first connect your WhatConverts account. To do that follow the steps outlined below.

1To authenticate Google Data Studio to allow access to your WhatConverts account you will use the API token and secret from your plan. To find these values please follow the steps below based on your plan type:

Plus Plan

1. Log in to your WhatConverts account then "Select a Profile" in your account. If you have only one profile in your account it will be automatically selected.
2. Select "Integrations". Click "API Keys".
3. Click on "Add API Key".
4. Your API Token will be generated and appear on the page. Click the "lock" icon to reveal the API Secret.

Agency Plan

1. Log in to your WhatConverts account. Click "Master Account" to open your Master Account Menu. Select "Integrations" and "API Keys".
2. Click on "Add API Key".
3. Your API Token will be generated and appear on the page. Click the "lock" icon to reveal the API Secret.

2Copy and paste the values into the corresponding boxes in the WhatConverts Google Data Studio Connector data source configuration page then click on "Next".

2You will now see your WhatConverts profiles listed under the Select Profile menu. Select the profile you would like to pull data from and click "CONNECT".

Note: If you are using an master account level key you can pull data from all profiles by leaving the Select Profile menu blank. If you are using a profile level key you do not need to select a profile as the API token and secret is already set for a specific profile.
