Nextdoor uses "Noreferrer" links for business listings; This means, by default, a user who clicks through from your Nextdoor listing will be attributed as a direct visit. This section will show you how to update your URL in your Nextdoor listing to append a UTM parameter to identify the source as Nextdoor.
Once you've done this, when a user clicks through from your Nextdoor listing, the UTM parameters will be reported with any leads from users who click through to your website.
1Log into Nextdoor and navigate to your business profile. Click "Your Page" on the left menu. Locate your business' Website under Business Info.
2At the end of your URL, type the following: ?utm_source=Nextdoor&utm_medium=Listing
. Click "Apply".
Now when a lead comes from Nextdoor, you will see the source reported as Nextdoor and the medium reported as Listing.
