Create a Dynamic Number Pool for Direct Visits

Track leads from users who reach your website by typing your URL directly or using a bookmark by creating a Dynamic Number Pool using Direct Visit triggers. This helps you capture and measure calls from untracked, direct sessions.

Add a Direct Visit Trigger

Follow these steps to create a dynamic number pool for direct visits.

1. In your WhatConverts profile, select “Tracking” from the top menu.
2. Choose “Calls”, then “Phone Numbers”.
3. Click “+ Add Dynamic Pool” to create a new pool.
4. Select “Advanced Setup”. Then enter a swap number.
5. In the Traffic Source panels, choose “Direct Visit”.



6. Click “Next Step” to continue. On the next page, choose whether to use Existing Numbers or Purchase New Numbers for your pool.
   1. To use existing numbers, select “Use Existing Numbers”, choose the numbers you want to include, and click “Finish”.
   2. To purchase new numbers, select “Get New Numbers”, then use the dropdown menus to choose your country, area code, or number type. Click “Next Step” to continue.
7. Choose where to forward calls. This is the destination number that will receive calls from this pool. Click “Next Step”.
8. Enable any additional features you want on your numbers, such as:
   1. Text Messaging
   2. Call Transcription
9. Click “Finish” to complete your Dynamic Number Pool setup.
