Manage Your Verified Addresses and Pending Activation Numbers

Access level: Master Account Users Only

If you plan to track calls outside the United States or Canada, you may need to add a Verified Address before your international numbers can be activated. Many countries require a verified business or residential address to comply with telecom regulations.

Add a Verified Address

To add a Verified Address in WhatConverts:

  1. Go to "Master Account Settings", then select "Additional Settings".
  2. Choose "Verified Addresses".
  3. Click "+ Add Verified Address".
  4. Select the Number Type (Local, National, or Toll-Free).
  5. Specify whether the address is for a Company or Individual.
  6. Enter the required address details and select the Country.
  7. Upload any requested verification documents.
  8. Click "Finish" to submit the address for verification.

Note: Number types vary by purpose and coverage:

  • Local: Phone numbers tied to a specific city or region (e.g., a San Francisco area code)
  • National: Phone numbers that cover an entire country but aren't toll-free
  • Toll-Free: Numbers that are free for callers to dial (e.g., 800, 888, 877 in the US)

Link a Verified Address to a Tracking Number

To activate a pending tracking number with a Verified Address:

  1. Go to "Master Account Settings", then select "Additional Settings".
  2. Choose "Verified Addresses".
  3. Click the "Pending Activation Numbers" tab.
  4. Locate the number you want to activate and click "View Numbers".
  5. On the Phone Numbers page, click the Pencil icon to edit the number.
  6. From the Verified Address dropdown, select the address you added.
  7. Click "Finish" to save your changes and activate the number.

Tip: You can link one Verified Address to multiple tracking numbers in the same country. You don't need to create a separate address for each number.

Edit a Verified Address

To update a Verified Address:

  1. Go to "Master Account Settings", then select "Additional Settings".
  2. Choose "Verified Addresses".
  3. Find the address you want to update and click "Edit".
  4. Make your changes to the address details or upload new verification documents.
  5. Click "Update" to save your changes.

Delete a Verified Address

To remove a Verified Address:

  1. Go to "Master Account Settings", then select "Additional Settings".
  2. Choose "Verified Addresses".
  3. Find the address you want to remove and click "Delete".
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Note: You cannot delete a Verified Address that is currently linked to an active tracking number. Unlink the address from all numbers before deleting.
