Porting allows you to move your existing phone numbers from WhatConverts to a new carrier of your choice. Even if you leave WhatConverts, you can maintain ownership of your existing lines.
Port a Number Out of WhatConverts
If you need to move your WhatConverts numbers to a different carrier, you can request a port-out approval through Support.
- Contact support@whatconverts.com with the list of numbers you’d like to port out.
- WhatConverts Support will confirm the numbers.
- Once approved, you will reach out to your new carrier to initiate the porting process.
- Porting typically takes 1-4 weeks, depending on the receiving carrier.
Important Notes
- The gaining carrier will provide the necessary steps and information to begin the port request.
- To prevent unauthorized or accidental ports, a Master Account user must email support@whatconverts.com with the intent to port out numbers.
