Access level: Master Account Users Only

Porting allows you to move your existing phone numbers from WhatConverts to a new carrier of your choice. Even if you leave WhatConverts, you can maintain ownership of your existing lines.

Port a Number Out of WhatConverts

If you need to move your WhatConverts numbers to a different carrier, you can request a port-out approval through Support.

  1. Contact support@whatconverts.com with the list of numbers you’d like to port out.
  2. WhatConverts Support will confirm the numbers.
  3. Once approved, you will reach out to your new carrier to initiate the porting process.
  4. Porting typically takes 1-4 weeks, depending on the receiving carrier.

Important Notes

  • The gaining carrier will provide the necessary steps and information to begin the port request.
  • To prevent unauthorized or accidental ports, a Master Account user must email support@whatconverts.com with the intent to port out numbers.
