Field Mappings keep your lead data clean and consistent by matching different field names from forms, chats, or imports into a unified field in the Lead Manager.

Why Use Field Mappings?

Without Field Mappings, capturing leads from multiple sources and channels can quickly become confusing. Every form or source might use different field names (e.g., “area_0001”, “region_xyz”, “service_area”) to capture the same information, leaving you with scattered data and frustrating reports.

Field Mappings solves this by standardizing those differences. With them, you can:

  • Standardize fields with different names so “service_area,” “region_xyz”, and “area_0001” all show up under one consistent column with a name of your choice.
  • Keep reporting accurate by preventing the same data from being split across multiple columns.
  • Simplify filtering and analysis by making sure you don’t have to look across multiple versions of the same field.
  • Combine multiple inputs into one field (e.g., merge “First Name” + “Last Name” into a single “Full Name” column).
  • Enable automation by using Mapped Fields in Lead Intelligence rules.
