Set Up Alerts for Tracking Number Capacity

Creating Tracking Number Capacity Alerts helps you stay ahead of potential call tracking issues.

When all numbers in a pool are in use, new calls may be missed or misattributed. These alerts notify you before that happens, so you can add more numbers and keep your phone tracking running smoothly.

Configure a Tracking Number Capacity Alert

To configure a Tracking Number Capacity Alert:

1. Follow steps 1-2 of the Alert creation process.
2. For the Alert type, select "More call tracking numbers are needed".
3. In the "If all numbers in number pool" section:
   • Choose which number pool(s) the alert applies to.
   • Pick the time period in which the number pool is checked out (e.g., "Checked out in the last 5 minutes").
4. In the "To" section, enter the email addresses where notifications should be sent. (Required field)
5. In the "Alert Message" section, customize the Alert message. Optionally use dynamic variables like {profile name} or {number pool} to auto-fill context.
   
6. Check the Alert Preview to make sure you get the desired outcome.
   
7. Finally, complete steps 5-6 of the Alert creation process to save and enable the alert.
