Bill Clients Separately

When you first sign up for a WhatConverts account, all usage is billed to a single credit card. If you manage multiple clients under one account, this setup can make client billing complex and difficult to separate.

To simplify billing and ensure each client is charged accurately, create individual WhatConverts Master Accounts for each client. This guide explains why this matters and how to structure your client setup for clear, transparent billing.

Why Separate Master Accounts Matter?

• Separate billing: Each client's usage is billed to their own credit card, eliminating confusion or cross-charges.
• Simplified management: Maintain control over all client accounts using the same email login.
• Transparency: Clients can view their own invoices and usage reports directly within their accounts.

Step 1: Create a Dedicated WhatConverts Master Account for Each Client

Start by creating a separate WhatConverts Account for every client you manage.

1. Go to WhatConverts.
2. Click 'Try for Free' to open a new account.
3. Enter your client's business details.
4. Use your email address as the login.
5. Add your client's credit card information for billing.

Step 2: Access Client Master Accounts from Your WhatConverts Navigation

After setup, you can manage each client account from the Master Account view.

1. Log in to your WhatConverts account.
2. At the top of the screen, click 'Viewing Master Account' to open the Account Navigator.
   
3. In the Master Account column, select the client's Master Account you want to access.
   

You'll now see all connected client Master Accounts in one organized list for quick navigation.
