Automatically Qualify Leads with Lead Intelligence

Lead Intelligence can automatically mark leads as quotable based on conditions you define, eliminating manual review and ensuring consistent qualification criteria.
Note:To maximize the value of the automated qualification process, it is crucial to first test it manually to validate the logic and ensure it aligns with your business needs.
Set Up Lead Qualification
To automatically qualify leads using a template:
- Access the Master Account or Profiles settings depending on where you want to apply rules.
- Select "Lead Intelligence".
- Click "+ Add Intelligence Rule".
- Select "Import rule from template".
- Choose the "Qualify, Categorize, Value" category from the left sidebar.
- Select one of the following qualification templates:
- One minute calls set Quotable and Lead Score: Marks phone calls longer than 60 seconds as quotable and increases their Lead Score.
- Use AI Keyword Detection to quote leads: Uses AI to detect specific keywords in call transcriptions or form messages, then marks matching leads as quotable.
- Ask AI product and appointment questions: Asks AI custom questions about customer interactions to determine if leads should be qualified.
- Set Quote Value on Category Selection: Automatically assigns Quote Value based on custom field selections like service category.
- Click "Import" to load the template.
- Review and customize the template if needed:
- Adjust duration thresholds (e.g., change from 60 seconds to 90 seconds)
- Modify keyword lists for detection
- Update custom field names to match your setup
- Change Quote Value amounts
- Click "Continue" to proceed to rule details.
- Fill in the rule information:
- Rule Name: Use a descriptive name like "Qualify Calls Over 60 Seconds"
- Rule Description: Add notes about what the rule does (optional)
- Activate Rule?: Toggle on to activate immediately
- Time Zone: Select the appropriate time zone
- Click "Complete" to save and activate the rule.
Common Qualification Workflows
Common qualification workflows include:
- Qualify by Call Duration: Automatically mark calls longer than a specific duration as quotable, ensuring only meaningful conversations count as leads.
- Qualify by Keywords: Use AI to detect important keywords like "appointment," "quote," or specific product names, then mark those leads as quotable.
- Qualify by Service Selection: Mark leads as quotable when custom fields indicate high-value services or products were selected.
- Qualify by Lead Source: Automatically qualify leads from specific campaigns or sources that historically perform well.
Once a lead meets your conditions, the rule automatically sets the Quotable field to "Yes" or "No", making reporting and ad platform optimization more accurate.
Tip:Use Ask AI rules to ask custom questions that automatically qualify leads.
