Score Leads Automatically with Lead Intelligence

Lead scoring helps you evaluate lead quality by assigning numeric values to leads based on defined signals. Lead Intelligence automates scoring by evaluating lead data and adjusting scores without manual review. These scores can be used to prioritize follow-up and control which leads are sent to ad platforms for optimization.
Set Up Lead Scoring
To automatically score leads using a template:
- Access the Master Account or Profiles settings depending on where you want to apply rules.
- Click "Lead Intelligence".
- Click "+ Add Intelligence Rule".
- Select "Import rule from template".
- Choose the "Qualify, Categorize, Value" category from the left sidebar.
- Select the "One minute calls set Quotable and Lead Score" template.
- Click "Import" to load the template.
- Review the template configuration:
- Condition: Duration (Seconds) is greater than or equal to 60
- Actions: Set Quotable to "Yes" AND Increase Lead Score by 10
- Customize if needed:
- Change the duration threshold
- Adjust the score increase amount
- Add additional conditions or actions
- Click "Continue" to proceed to rule details.
- Fill in the rule information:
- Rule Name: Use a descriptive name like "Score Quality Calls"
- Rule Description: Add notes about scoring logic (optional)
- Activate Rule?: Toggle on to activate immediately
- Time Zone: Select the appropriate time zone
- Click "Complete" to save and activate the rule.
Common Scoring Workflows
Common lead scoring workflows include:
- Score by Call Duration: Increase scores for calls that exceed specific time thresholds, indicating engaged conversations.
- Score Quotable Leads: Add bonus points to leads already marked as quotable to prioritize them for follow-up.
- Score by Keywords: Use AI keyword detection to increase scores when important terms are mentioned.
- Score by Lead Source: Assign different score values based on which campaigns or sources generated the lead.
- Decrease Scores for Negative Signals: Reduce scores when leads show disqualifying characteristics like short duration or spam indicators.
