Understand the Lead Intelligence Actions

Actions are the "THEN" part of Lead Intelligence rules. They define what happens when your conditions are met. Understanding available actions helps you automate lead qualification, scoring, valuation, and integration workflows effectively.
How Actions Work
Each action consists of three components:
- Type of Action: What the rule will do (e.g., Set value, Ask AI, Send conversion)
- Dimension: Which lead data point will be affected (e.g., Quotable, Lead Score, Quote Value)
- Value: The value to apply or the configuration for the action
Multiple actions can be added to a single rule and are connected with AND, meaning all actions execute when conditions are met.
Available Action Types
Ask AI Questions
Prompt AI to analyze lead data and extract custom insights. You configure:
- Which dimensions to analyze (Call Transcription, Form Message, etc.)
- The question to ask
- How to label the answer field in Lead Manager
- The expected response format (Yes/No, Short Answer, Number, etc.)
This action enables custom AI analysis tailored to your specific qualification needs.
Run Lead Analysis
Automatically run AI analysis on leads to detect:
- Intent Detection: What the lead wanted to accomplish
- Topic Detection: Main subjects discussed
- Lead Summary: Brief overview of the interaction
- Sentiment Detection: Tone of the conversation
- Keyword Detection: Important words or phrases mentioned
Set Value
Assign a specific value to a lead field. Common uses:
- Set Quotable to "Yes" or "No"
- Set Quote Value to a dollar amount
- Set Lead Score to a specific number
- Set custom fields based on lead data
Clear Value
Remove the current value from a field, leaving it blank.
Copy Field Value
Copy the value from one field to another. Useful for:
- Duplicating data across fields
- Populating custom fields from standard fields
- Creating backup copies of field values
Increase Value
Add a numeric amount to an existing field value. Common uses:
- Increase Lead Score by 10 points
- Add to Quote Value based on additional criteria
Decrease Value
Subtract a numeric amount from an existing field value. Common uses:
- Decrease Lead Score for negative signals
- Reduce Quote Value based on qualification factors
Prepend Text To
Add text to the beginning of an existing field value.
Append Text To
Add text to the end of an existing field value. Useful for:
- Adding notes or tags to existing data
- Building cumulative field values
Send Webhook to Endpoint
Trigger a webhook to send lead data to an external system or custom endpoint for CRM integration or workflow automation.
Send Conversion To
Send qualified leads as conversions to ad platforms:
- Facebook Ads
- Google Ads
- Bing Ads
- ROI Stat
- Search Ads 360
- Unbounce
- VWO
This enables value-based bidding by sending only qualified, high-value leads to optimize campaign performance.
Block Phone Number / Email Address
Automatically add a phone number or email address to your blocked list to prevent future leads from spam sources.
Common Action Examples
Mark calls as quotable:
- Type of Action: Set value
- Dimension: Quotable
- Value: Yes
Assign lead score:
- Type of Action: Increase value
- Dimension: Lead Score
- Value: 10
Set quote value:
- Type of Action: Set value
- Dimension: Quote Value
- Value: 150
Send to Google Ads:
- Type of Action: Send conversion to
- Platform: Google Ads
Ask AI about intent:
- Type of Action: Ask AI questions about
- Dimensions: Call Transcription
- Question: "Did the caller want to schedule an appointment?"
- Label: Appointment Intent
- Format: Yes/No
Combine Multiple Actions
Actions are connected with AND, meaning you can stack multiple actions in a single rule. For example, when a call is qualified:
- Set Quotable to "Yes" AND
- Increase Lead Score by 10 AND
- Set Quote Value to 100 AND
- Send conversion to Google Ads
All four actions execute automatically when the conditions are met.
