Send Leads to Your CRM with Zapier
WhatConverts allows you to send new leads to your CRM using Zapier. Zapier lets you create automated workflows (“Zaps”) that pass data between WhatConverts and other software. Once set up, your Zap will automatically create new contacts in your CRM whenever a new lead is captured in WhatConverts.

Step 1: Create Your Zap
To capture new leads from WhatConverts and send them to your CRM:
- Log in to your Zapier account and click “Create” to start a new Zap.
- For the Trigger App, select “WhatConverts”.
- For the Trigger Event, select “New Lead”.
- Connect your WhatConverts account.
- Click “Continue”.
- On the Configure page:
- Choose which leads you want to send to your CRM (e.g., Web Forms).
- Select the Profile from which the leads will come.
- Click “Continue”.
- On the Test page, click “Test Trigger” to pull in sample lead data.
- Click “Continue with selected record”.
Step 2: Send Lead Data to Your CRM
To send the lead to your CRM:
- For the Action App, select your CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
- For the Action Event, select “Create Contact” (or the equivalent action for your CRM).
- Connect your CRM account.
- Click “Continue”.
- On the Configure page:
- Name, Email, Phone: Map the corresponding WhatConverts lead values.
- Lead ID: Map the WhatConverts Lead ID to a custom field in your CRM.
- Optional: Map any additional fields your CRM supports.
- Click “Continue”.
- On the Test page, click “Test” to send the lead to your CRM.
- Click “Publish”.
- Log in to your CRM and confirm the test lead was created.
Note: If you plan to update leads in both systems, the WhatConverts Lead ID must be stored in your CRM. Once mapped, follow Update Leads in WhatConverts with Zapier to send CRM updates back into WhatConverts
