Send BigCommerce Transactions to WhatConverts

Send transaction data from your BigCommerce store to WhatConverts.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

A BigCommerce store with admin access
A WhatConverts account with your Profile ID
The WhatConverts tracking script installed on your site

Add the WhatConverts Tracking Script to BigCommerce

To add the WhatConverts tracking script to BigCommerce:

Log in to your BigCommerce Control Panel.
Click "Storefront" in the left menu.
Select "Script Manager".
Click "Create a Script".
In the Edit Script page, enter a name and description for your script.
Select "Head" for Location on page.
Select "All pages" for the pages where the script will be added.
Select "Script" for Script type.
Paste your WhatConverts tracking script in the Script Contents section.
Click "Save".

Enable Transaction Tracking

To enable transaction tracki

In your BigCommerce Control Panel, go to "Advanced Settings."
Choose "Web Analytics".
Check the box next to Affiliate Conversion Tracking.
Click "Save".
Click the Affiliate Conversion Tracking tab at the top of the page.

Paste the following code into the Conversion Tracking Code box:

Click "Save".

Your BigCommerce store will now send transaction data to WhatConverts with full marketing attribution for every online sale.

Verify Transaction Tracking

Once the setup is complete:

Place a test order on your BigCommerce store.
Log in to your WhatConverts account.
Access the Lead Manager and look for your test transaction.
Verify that the transaction amount and marketing attribution appear correctly.
