What is the Calendly Integration?

Who has access to this feature?

Available on: All Plans

Access level: All Users

The Calendly integration lets you track booked meetings as leads in WhatConverts. When someone schedules an appointment through Calendly, WhatConverts automatically captures the lead, attributes the source, and includes booking details in your reporting.

This integration works whether you use Calendly on its own URL or embed it directly on your website.

Choose Your Calendly Connection Method

There are two different ways to track Calendly bookings in WhatConverts, depending on your plan.

How the Calendly Integration Works

When a visitor books a meeting through Calendly, WhatConverts records the booking as a lead. The integration collects details directly from Calendly and pairs them with the visitor’s marketing source, so you can see which campaigns generate scheduled appointments.

WhatConverts will capture:

  • The visitor’s full marketing attribution (source, medium, campaign, keyword).
  • The Calendly event type booked (e.g., Consultation, Demo, Appointment).
  • Booking date and time.
  • Visitor details entered during scheduling.
  • Full customer journey leading up to the booking.

Once captured, leads appear in the Lead Manager along with your calls, forms, chats, and eCommerce conversions.

Why Use the Calendly Integration?

The Calendly integration helps you understand which marketing efforts are driving booked appointments. With this attribution, you can:

  • Measure how ads, landing pages, or keywords influence meeting bookings.
  • Track Calendly bookings alongside all your other conversion types.
  • Report on scheduled meetings in Summary Reports, Custom Reports, and Customer Journey.
  • Improve marketing decisions using accurate, unified data.

Examples of How Businesses Use Calendly Tracking

Different teams use the Calendly integration to understand where their best appointments come from:

  • Agencies: Track which campaigns generate sales consultations.
  • SaaS companies: Attribute demo bookings to paid search, organic, email, or partner channels.
  • Home services: Identify which marketing sources produce estimate requests.
  • B2B sales teams: See which ads or keywords drive discovery calls.
  • Medical and dental offices: Track new patient appointments and consultation bookings.
