Connect WhatConverts to ServiceTitan
This article explains how to connect WhatConverts to ServiceTitan through Zapier to automatically send appointment and invoice data from ServiceTitan to WhatConverts.
Before You Begin
To set up this integration, you will need:
- A ServiceTitan account with the correct permissions (Admin access or the Manage API Application Access permission enabled)
- A Zapier account
- Your WhatConverts API key:
- For Master Account integrations: Generate a Master API Key
- For Profile integrations: Generate a Profile API Key
Locate Your ServiceTitan API Credentials
Before creating your Zapier workflows, you need to obtain your ServiceTitan API credentials. These credentials are required to authenticate the connection between ServiceTitan and Zapier.
If you’re not seeing the API Application Access page in ServiceTitan under “Settings” and then “Integrations”, your user account does not currently have the Manage API Application Access permission. You will need to contact a ServiceTitan admin to grant you this permission.
Once you have the required permission, locate your credentials as follows:
- Tenant ID: In ServiceTitan, go to “Settings”, then select “Integrations”, then select “API Application Access”. Your Tenant ID appears in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Client ID and Client Secret: From the API Application Access page, select “Connect New App” or edit an existing connection. An admin can then generate the credentials. The Client Secret is only shown once, so be sure to copy and store it securely.

Test Your Connection
After setting up your Zapier workflows:
- Create a test record in the source platform (appointment, invoice, or lead, depending on your workflow).
- Verify that the Zapier workflow triggers and completes successfully.
- Check the destination platform to confirm that the data was created with the correct information.
- Review the Validate and Troubleshoot Your ServiceTitan Integration article if you encounter any issues during testing.
