Track SimpleTexting SMS Leads

Track SMS conversations from SimpleTexting in WhatConverts.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

• A SimpleTexting account with SMS messaging enabled
• A Zapier account

Set Up the Zapier Workflow

1. Go to Zapier and click "Create Zap".
2. Select "SimpleTexting" as your Trigger App.
3. Choose "New Inbound Message" or "New Message" as your Trigger Event and click "Continue".
4. Connect your SimpleTexting account to Zapier or select your existing connection.
5. Click "Continue".

Configure the SimpleTexting Trigger

1. Select the phone number you want to track.
2. Choose any additional filter options if available.
3. Click "Continue".
4. Click "Test trigger" to verify the connection.
5. Select a recent message to test with and click "Continue".

Connect WhatConverts

1. Select "WhatConverts" as your Action App.
2. Choose "Create Lead" as your Action Event and click "Continue".
3. Connect your WhatConverts account to Zapier or select your existing connection.
4. Select your WhatConverts profile.
5. Map the following fields:
   • Lead Type: Select "Text Message"
   • Phone Number: Map to the SimpleTexting phone number field
   • Message: Map to the SimpleTexting message content
   • Date/Time: Map to the SimpleTexting timestamp
   • Add any additional fields you want to track.
6. Click "Continue".

Test and Activate Your Workflow

1. Click "Test action" to send a test lead to WhatConverts.
2. Verify the test was successful in your WhatConverts dashboard.
3. Click "Publish".
