Send Transactions (Invoices) and Sales Value from Jobber to WhatConverts
Sending invoice data from Jobber to WhatConverts allows you to track which marketing campaigns generate actual revenue. When invoices are created in Jobber, they automatically sync to WhatConverts as transactions with sales values and are tied back to the original lead's marketing attribution, enabling you to calculate true marketing ROI.
This workflow uses the native Jobber integration to automatically sync invoice data, ensuring you can measure which ads, keywords, and campaigns drive customers who actually pay for your services.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have already connected WhatConverts to Jobber and selected "Invoices" during the connection setup. If you haven't set up the connection yet, follow the instructions in Connect WhatConverts to Jobber.
How Invoice Syncing Works
Once the integration is active, invoices automatically sync from Jobber to WhatConverts:
- Complete a job and create an invoice in Jobber for the customer.
- Invoice data syncs automatically to WhatConverts within minutes.
- WhatConverts matches the invoice to the original lead based on customer information (phone number or email).
- Marketing attribution is applied. The transaction appears in WhatConverts with all the marketing data from the original lead (source, campaign, keywords, landing page).
- Revenue is attributed to marketing. You can now see exactly how much revenue each campaign generated.
What Invoice Data Gets Synced
The following information syncs from Jobber invoices to WhatConverts:
- Invoice total amount (sales value)
- Customer information (name, phone, email, address)
- Invoice status (paid, unpaid, overdue)
- Invoice date
- Payment method and payment date
- Any updates to the invoice status or amount
View Transactions in WhatConverts
To see invoices that have synced from Jobber:
- From your WhatConverts profile, access the Lead Manager.
- Filter by lead type "Transaction" to see all invoices.
- Click on any transaction to view:
- The sales value (invoice amount)
- The original marketing source (Google Ads, Facebook, organic search, etc.)
- Campaign and keyword information
- Landing page
- Full customer journey from first contact to payment (requires Elite plan)
Measure Revenue Attribution
With invoices syncing from Jobber, you can now:
- Calculate true ROI. Measure actual revenue generated per dollar spent on advertising
- Track revenue by campaign. See which keywords, ads, and campaigns generate the highest-value customers
- Identify profitable marketing channels. Compare revenue across different sources to optimize budget allocation
- Report on marketing performance. Show stakeholders or clients exactly how much revenue marketing generated
- Optimize ad spending. Feed conversion data with revenue back to Google Ads, Meta, and Microsoft Ads so their algorithms target higher-value customers
Important Note About Attribution
Invoices will only have marketing attribution if the customer was first tracked by WhatConverts. This typically happens when a customer:
- Calls a WhatConverts tracking number
- Submits a form on your tracked website
- Chats with you through a tracked chat widget
- Texts a tracked number
If a customer books and pays directly through Jobber without first contacting you through a tracked channel, the invoice will sync to WhatConverts but won't have marketing attribution data.
