Import Call Data into WhatConverts from Google Sheets

Import call tracking data from Google Sheets into WhatConverts using Zapier.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

Prepare Your Google Sheets Data

Use a Custom Google Sheet or CSV

  1. Create or open your Google Sheets spreadsheet.
  2. Ensure your spreadsheet has the following columns: Phone Number, Caller Name (if available), Call Date/Time, Call Duration, Source (optional), Campaign (optional), and any other custom fields.
  3. Make sure each row represents a unique call.

Export CSV from WhatConverts

Follow our steps in our guide here to Export Your Leads from WhatConverts.

Set Up the Zapier Workflow

  1. Go to Zapier and click "Create Zap".
  2. Select "Google Sheets" as your Trigger App.
  3. Choose "New or Updated Spreadsheet Row" as your Trigger Event and click "Continue".
  4. Connect your Google account to Zapier or select your existing connection.
  5. Click "Continue".

Configure the Google Sheets Trigger

  1. Select your Google Drive account.
  2. Choose the spreadsheet that contains your call data.
  3. Select the specific worksheet (tab) within the spreadsheet.
  4. Choose "First Row" as the Trigger Column to watch for new entries.
  5. Click "Continue".
  6. Click "Test trigger" to verify the connection.
  7. Review the sample data and click "Continue".

Connect WhatConverts

  1. Select "WhatConverts" as your Action App.
  2. Choose "Create Lead" as your Action Event and click "Continue".
  3. Connect your WhatConverts account to Zapier or select your existing connection.
  4. Select your WhatConverts profile.
  5. Map the following fields from Google Sheets to WhatConverts:
    • Lead Type: Select "Phone Call"
    • Phone Number: Map to your phone number column
    • Contact Name: Map to your caller name column
    • Date/Time: Map to your call date/time column
    • Duration: Map to your call duration column (if available)
    • Source: Map to your source column (if available)
    • Campaign: Map to your campaign column (if available)
    • Add any additional custom fields you want to import.
  6. Click "Continue".

Test and Activate Your Workflow

  1. Click "Test action" to send a test lead to WhatConverts.
  2. Verify the test call appears correctly in your WhatConverts dashboard.
  3. Click "Publish".
