Send BigCommerce Offline Sales Values to WhatConverts

Send offline sales values from BigCommerce orders back to existing leads in WhatConverts through a Zapier connection. This is useful when a customer starts their journey on your website (creating a call or form lead) but completes their purchase through another channel.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

• A BigCommerce account with orders you want to track
• Completed Send BigCommerce Transactions to WhatConverts
• A Zapier account

Step 1: Set Up the Trigger

1. Create a new Zap in Zapier.
2. Select "BigCommerce" as your Trigger App.
3. Choose "New Order" as the Trigger Event.
4. Click "Continue".
5. Connect your BigCommerce account.
6. Click "Continue" and test your trigger.

Step 2: Find the Lead in WhatConverts

1. Add a new action step.
2. Select "WhatConverts" as the Action App.
3. Choose "Find Lead" as the Action Event.
4. Click "Continue".
5. Connect your WhatConverts account.
6. Click "Continue".

Set Up the Lead Search

1. In the Set up action page, map the Caller Number field:
   • Add "+1" to the beginning of the phone number to find it in E164 format
   • Select "Billing Address Phone" from your BigCommerce step
2. Click "Continue".
3. Click "Test & Continue" to verify the lead is found.

Step 3: Update the Lead with Sales Value

1. Add another action step.
2. Select "WhatConverts" as the Action App.
3. Choose "Update Lead" as the Action Event.
4. Click "Continue".
5. Select your WhatConverts profile.
6. Click "Continue".

Map the Sales Data

1. For Lead ID:
   • Select the "Custom" tab
   • Choose "Find Lead"
   • Select the "Lead ID"
2. For Quotable:
   • Select "Yes"
3. For Sales Value:
   • Choose "Step 1" (BigCommerce)
   • Select "Total (Excluding Tax)" or "Subtotal (Excluding Tax)"
4. Click "Continue".
5. Review your settings and click "Test & Continue".
6. Turn your Zap "On".

Verify the Integration

To make sure the integration is working as expected:

1. Place a test order in BigCommerce using a phone number that matches a lead in WhatConverts.
2. Wait a few minutes for Zapier to process the order.
3. Log in to WhatConverts and locate the lead.
4. Verify that the Sales Value has been updated.
