Billing FAQs

This article answers common questions about billing in WhatConverts, including subscription fees, usage charges, invoices, auto funding, and managing billing settings.

What charges can I expect on my WhatConverts account?

All plans include:

  • A monthly subscription fee
  • A monthly usage credit

Your included usage credit is automatically applied toward any usage in your account.

If your usage exceeds the included credit, additional usage is billed at your plan’s standard rates.

What does the monthly usage credit cover?

Your included monthly usage credit covers:

  • Phone numbers, including disabled numbers
  • Incoming call minutes
  • Incoming text messages (SMS)
  • Other lead types, including:
    • Forms
    • Appointments
    • Chats
    • Emails
    • Events
    • Transactions

How are call minutes calculated?

Call minutes are billed by duration and rounded up to the nearest full minute.

Examples:

  • A call lasting 1-60 seconds is billed as 1 minute.
  • An 85-second call is billed as 2 minutes.

Busy and no-answer calls that connect to the tracking number still count toward usage.

Are there additional features charged separately?

There are add-on features that you can add to your WhatConverts account that are not included in the above.

Examples include:

  • White Label: This is an additional $50 per month and allows you to brand your Master Account with your company's logo with your own domain.
  • Call Transcription: Provides a transcript of your tracked calls after they have ended. This is an additional $0.02.
  • PCI Redaction: Redacts any credit card details or social security numbers from your call recordings and/or call transcriptions. This is an additional $0.01 per minute.

When will I be billed?

You are billed monthly on the date you originally signed up.

Your invoice will include:

  • Your monthly subscription fee
  • Any usage charges beyond your included credit
  • Add-on charges (if applicable)

You can review invoices at any time from the Invoices page.

What is Auto Funding?

Auto Funding automatically adds funds to your account when your balance falls below a set threshold. This helps prevent service interruptions due to a low balance.

How can I monitor my usage and spending?

You can monitor usage and spending at any time within the Billing section of your account.

Who can access billing settings?

Billing settings are only available to Master Account users.
