Select an Attribution Model

This feature is available on Elite plans only.
The Attribution Model determines how leads are attributed to marketing channels or campaigns inside of your WhatConverts Account. Choosing the right model helps you understand which touchpoints drive results and make smarter decisions about where to invest your budget.
Update Your Attribution Model
To update your Attribution Model:
- Open the Profile Settings. Select "Additional Settings".
- Click "Attribution".
- From here, you can choose from the following attribution models:
- First Interaction: Lead data is attributed to the very first channel or campaign the visitor interacted with.
- Last Interaction: Lead data is attributed to the very last channel or campaign the visitor interacted with before converting.
- Last Contact Interaction: Lead data is attributed to the very last channel or campaign the visitor interacted with, even after converting.
- Last Non-Direct Interaction: Lead data is attributed to the last channel or campaign the visitor interacted with, ignoring any direct visits.
- Last Paid Interaction: Lead data is attributed to the last paid campaign the visitor interacted with before converting.
- After selecting your model, click "Update Attribution" to save your changes.
Note: Updating the attribution model can potentially alter the source and medium of your leads across the Leads Manager and your Reports. The attribution that is presented is dependent on the model selected here.
