Add IP Addresses to Your Whitelist

IP Address Whitelisting allows you to restrict WhatConverts access so that only users connecting from approved IP addresses can log in. This enhances account security by preventing unauthorized access from unknown networks or external locations.

Add an IP Address to Your Whitelist

To add an IP address to your whitelist:

  1. Go to Master Account Settings. Select "Security".
  2. Under Security, choose "IP Address Whitelist".
  3. Click "+ Add IP Address".
  4. Enter the IP Address you want to authorize.
    Set the CIDR value to define the allowed range:
    • Use 32 to authorize a single IP address.
    • Use a lower value (e.g., 24) to allow multiple addresses within a range.
  5. Optionally, add a Description to identify the IP address (e.g., "Office Network" or "Headquarters").
  6. Click "Save" to confirm.

Edit or Remove an IP Address

To update or delete an existing IP address:

  1. Go to Master Account Settings. Select "Security".
  2. Under Security, choose "IP Address Whitelist".
  3. Locate the IP address you want to update or remove.
  4. Click "Edit" to modify the address or "Delete" to remove it.
  5. Click "Save Changes" to apply updates.
