WhatConverts Account Setup

Once your account has been approved, you’ll be redirected to the setup page. Let’s explore the necessary steps to configure your account properly.

Step 1: Enter Additional Company Details

1. Existing details such as company name and phone number will already be filled.
2. Select an industry and sub-industry: The sub-industry field is optional, but recommended if applicable.
3. Accept the terms and click “Continue”.

Step 2: Enter Your Website URL

1. Enter your website URL: This is the URL that leads will be tracked on.
2. Click “Continue”.

Step 3: Select Marketing Channels

1. Select marketing channels: These are the channels you want to track leads from.
2. Click “Continue”.

Step 4: Set Up Your Tracking Numbers

1. Decide whether to use local or toll-free tracking numbers.
2. Select an area code.
3. Enter the phone number you would like calls forwarded to.
4. If you want to record calls, enable “Record all incoming calls (Free)”.
5. Click “Continue”.

Step 5: Set Up Your Forms

1. Choose which forms on your website you’d like to track.
2. Click “Continue”.

Step 6: Install the WhatConverts Tracking Code

Installing the WhatConverts tracking code on your website is essential for an effective tracking setup. To install the tracking code, choose from the following options:

1. Have my developer install code: Enter your developer’s email address, and WhatConverts will send them the installation instructions.
2. Install code myself: Choose from three methods: WordPress plugin, Google Tag Manager, or Manual Installation. Follow the comprehensive setup guides provided by WhatConverts for your chosen method.

Final Step: Access Your WhatConverts Account

After installing the tracking code or clicking the “Skip for Now” button, you’ll be taken to a summary page displaying your account's tracking numbers and any forms you have set up.

At the bottom of the page, click “Take Me to WhatConverts” to access your account.

Congratulations! You have finished setting up your account and can start tracking leads.
