To track the traffic source of every lead, the tracking script must appear on every page of your website.
To find if the WhatConverts tracking script is on your page:
1Open your website in a browser of your choice.
2Right click your mouse and select "View page source". Press CTRL+F on your keyboard to open the search feature. Enter your unique profile ID (which can be found by navigating to the "Tracking" menu in WhatConverts and selecting "Tracking Code").
3This should take you to the tracking script within the page source. Example (profile ID is represented by asterisks):
<script src="//s.ksrndkehqnwntyxlhgto.com/*****.js"></script>
4If you do not find the tracking script on your website, you can use an alternative method to check by opening your web page in Google Chrome. Right click anywhere on the page, click "Inspect", and then select the Application tab. Under the Cookies section, select your website and look for the wc_visitor cookie. If this cookie is present with your profile ID, your tracking script is installed on the page.
5If your tracking script is missing, you will need to add it. You can find your tracking script by navigating to your account profile and clicking the "Tracking" menu from the top of the page, then selecting "Tracking Code".
Note: If you have yourTracking Code installed via Google Tag Manager, you will need to check to make sure your Google Tag snippet is on your page.
5If you are using WordPress, make sure to clear any and all caching plugins you have installed after publishing your WhatConverts tracking script.
