Adding WhatConverts Script to Your Site


Setting up the WhatConverts code on your website allows you to track your leads in the WhatConverts Dashboard. To implement this code, you may either use the standard HTML code or the WhatConverts WordPress Plugin.

Implementing Using Standard HTML Code

Select the profile you are setting up from the drop-down menu on the left-hand side. If you only have one profile, this is done automatically. Select the "Settings" then "Tracking Code" menu item.

Find the WhatConverts Tracking Code

Copy & paste the Tracking Script into every page of your website, preferably in the <head> of the page, but it can also go before the </body> tag . This script contains your unique 5 digit Tracking Code.

The characters ***** will be replaced with your unique 5 digit tracking code.

Implementing Using WordPress Plugin

Select the profile you are setting up. If you only have one profile this is done automatically. Select the "Settings" then "Tracking Code" menu item. Copy down your Profile ID number. Example: 60913.

Download WordPress Plugin, then "Upload" WhatConverts to your Plugins Directory. "Activate" the plugin through the Plugins Menu in WordPress. Navigate to the WordPress plugin settings, "Settings", then select "WhatConverts". Add your Profile ID from WhatConverts.
