Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your WhatConverts account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

To enable Two-Factor Authentication and add an extra layer of security to your account:

  1. Click the User icon in the top right and select “User Settings”.
  2. In the left panel, select “Security Settings”.
  3. Under Account Security, enter your email address to verify your account.
  4. Under 2-Factor Authentication, select “Enabled”, then click “Update Security Settings”.

Note Box: By default, authentication codes are sent to the email address listed in your settings. If you’d like to receive authentication via SMS, enter your phone number in the Phone Number box and click “Send Verification” to finish setup.
