The simplest way to allow WhatConverts to track visitors from Google ads is to enable auto-tagging in your Google Ads account. By enabling this option, Google Ads will automatically tag your landing page URL with a parameter called gclid. This will allow our script to recognize the visitor source as Google Paid Search.

If you have already linked your Google Analytics account with your Google Ads account, this feature is automatically enabled; you will not need to make any changes.

    Enable Auto-Tagging

1Sign into your Google Ads account.

2Select “All Campaigns” on the top left hand side of the interface.

3Click on “Settings” on the bottom left side of the menu.
